Achilleas Pension - Hydra (Saronic Islands)

Staying at Achilleas Pension reminded me of a hidden gem. The location is super convenient-just a short walk from the ferry terminal and close to several amazing cafes. I loved the rooftop area. It's perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with air conditioning that worked well in the summer heat. The fridge was handy for keeping drinks cool. Checking in early reminded me of a nice bonus, especially since I arrived before the standard check-in time. The owners, Achilleas and Dimitris, were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Had a small hiccup with the air conditioning. It initially took a bit to get it started, but once it was on, the temperature was comfortable enough. The room had a TV, but not many English channels, made downtime a bit dull.

Good old and pretty hotel, we liked it.

Everything was good, particularly good location close enough to bars, Achilleas Pension and many shops and restaurants, outstandingly accommodating staff. The rooms were big with a balcony. The breakfast was great and offered plenty of items...

The hotel met expectations, it was a nice stay in central Hydra town. We were in a great location relatively near Kamini Beach. It also was close to port.

Owner manager was super helpful with our questions. We appreciated the laundry facilities and hanging our stuff to dry on the roof. It was a nice walk from the ferry terminal, and the nearby cafes were a delight. Our triple room felt spacious for two of us.

This was a fitting option for a weekend jaunt in Hydra with a reasonable price. I appreciated the early check-in, made my arrival hassle-free. Try emailing them directly if the website shows no availability.

Staying at Achilleas was perfect for our family! The girls loved the rooftop area to dry their swimsuits after splashing around in the sea. Clean rooms with solid air conditioning kept everyone cool during our summer visit. We even enjoyed a lovely walk to local cafes after our day at the beach.

In my wife's opinion, a small playground would be great.

The hospitality was really good! The owners were always available and eager to help with any questions. The location offered a nice balance, as it was close to lovely cafes and away from the busy harbor area. Our room had a beautiful mountain view, made mornings special.

The WiFi connection could be inconsistent at times.

I enjoyed hanging my laundry on the rooftop and meeting other guests while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The lovely sun terrace and garden area made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The only downside was the WiFi could be a bit spotty, but it didn't take away from an overall great experience 😊

My room had a nice terrace and a balcony which was a great plus. It was spacious and had air conditioning, which was awesome on hot days. the staff were super friendly and always ready to help with any questions or needs. 😊
